Working in the modern day is encumbered by tasks that are not work itself. We check boxes, juggle tabs, and celebrate transient bursts of effort, yet struggle to find the sustained focus required for meaningful progress.
Deep Day is designed specifically for those who want to spend more time making, solving, designing in deep work.
We are shaped by three convictions:
This app is not for everyone. It is not for those chasing quick hacks or performative productivity. It is for those who value depth, who know their best work comes from long stretches of focus
Commit fully to the task at hand. Progress is built in the present moment, not in endless optimization.
Work deeply. Make it count.
Deep Day is designed to help you track your deep work sessions and improve your productivity. Begin a deep work session by clicking the Focus button in the sidebar.
Use Deep Day as a “planner” rather than a “calendar.” Add events by clicking in the calendar or pressing the button. Sync with Google Calendar for a complete view of your day.
Additionally, you can link your Anki to track your daily review schedule.
Set Objects to ensure your deep work sessions align with your intended direction. These can be short-term tasks or long-term goals.
Categorize your events as either "Deep Work" tasks or "Chore" to distinguish between time you'll spend deep working and shallow working - time spent on necessary but low-impact tasks.
Click “⊞” to organize events by urgency and importance.
Mark an event as completed and rate your work quality and pace out of 5.
Track your productivity over time in Analytics to understand patterns and trends in your productivity.
Click the Focus button in the sidebar to start a deep work session. You can add steps to your task and track your progress.
Mark a day as complete by clicking the shutdown indicator in the calendar view. This will help you psychologically complete work for the day.
